Insurance company pulling out insurance premiums for 12 years on a dead man
EXPOSEBULLIES has found a new story of a big corporation taking advantage of the elderly.
CONSECO INSURANCE has apparently, from the records we have seen, been taking insurance premiums at almost 90 dollars a month, for 12 years minus one month, from an 80 plus year old widow.
Our source says that in April, 2008, CEO of CONSECO, Mr. C. James Prieur received written notice and complaint about the almost 12 years of withdrawing premiums on a dead man, which continued even after the widow had sent them written notice of the death of her husband, including a copy of the death certificate, and she asked them to stop billing her on her dead husband.
She had other insurance policies that were being automatically drafted, and the Conseco policy, on the bank withdrawal notice, did not report who the policy was on, UNTIL recently, when her bank changed computer systems, such that the new system was able to display more information on the withdrawal, and suddenly, she sees her second husband, dead since May 13, 1996, was still having almost over 80 dollars a month, every month, as late as April 7,2008.
The lady has not received a response from the insurance company, and apparently, a second demand letter went out yesterday as I understand.
She deserves to get every penny back, and folks should write Conseco and demand they do the right thing,
